something about....

there's something about having a morning meeting that makes the rest of the day fly by. before you know it, you're in the car heading to a school meeting. and again, you're off to class. till 10:30pm. and then you're sitting at a computer with a towel on your head excited about the 5 hours of sleep that await you before you start the cycle again.

except tomorrow i am off for wild adventures with bond (after work...i'm not a total slacker).

running out of ti-i-i-i-ime

i've got the hot hot heat song stuck in my head. this happens all too often.

i'm approaching finals...they start tomorrow!!

and i'm running out of time.

it's friday night again, and i'm sitting in teh computer lab at school, working away. i can't wait to resume having a WEEKEND.

i'm planning a party for tonight...me, my drafting table, a candle and music.

woot.

whirlwind

life has been very crazy lately. i made a trip out to colorado to see my hunny and watch him graduate! i was so excited to be there and am SO proud of him. he's such an awesome guy...he just continues to blow me away. get this...it's not my birthday. not christmas or valentines, or anything special. but for NO REASON WHATSOEVER he buys me an ipod!!!!! *sigh* AND...he brings me a boquet of roses at the airport. i'm so spoiled it's not even funny (i'm definitley NOT complaining *wink*).

we had such a great time (even if it was super busy). right now he's in alaska (lucky.) and i'm prolly a lil too jealous...but he deserves it (and much more!).

umm....trying to think. other than being stuck at the computer lab at school and working my butt off on various projects, i haven't been doing that much.

i did go to a concert the other night, though. dishwalla was at the masquerade...very fun concert (even if the opening band was TERRIBLE and made me want to puke). so, yeah, we met them...but i forgot to bring my camera, so i don't have any pics *drops a tear* but i do have a signed bumper sticker (for all that's worth...)

life is beautiful.

hey guys...long time no post from me.

basically, i've gotten busy enjoying life :-p

i absolutley LOVE my job. this is the first time in my life i can say that i LOVE LOVE LOVE my job. sure, it has it's moments. but i'm constantly learning, moving from project to project...and my boss is paying for additional training for me outside of work. training that would run me $200 bucks a day as an independent designer. how cool is that??

as far as school is concerned...in the past six weeks, i have been learning four different software programs while working on projects. it's been very time consuming, but i'm really enjoying it. i'm considering buying space in my school computer lab for a bed. lol....i live here.

other than that, i have been reading some fabulous books...."addicted to mediocricy," by franky schaeffer. if you are AT ALL into art, it's a great book. it outlines a lot of feelings i have had about art (christians in art particuarly) for quite awhile now. it's basically the book i was planning on writing. i think he got to it WAY before me, though. it's actually out of print now, so check online.

i'm taking a theology class at church now. sheesh, all i do is study. but it's fun...i love theology.

i met lifehouse (yes, the band) yesterday. they were SO incredibly awesome. i have loved that band since early highschool...and i still do. get their new album!!!! they are the nicest band you will ever meet...and the rock. seriously. they are the kind of band that sounds even BETTER in person than on an album. something i can't really say for many bands.

oh, and i saw ginny owens at a coffee shop a few weeks ago as well. she's not so good with crowd-communication skills. lol, but she is so very talented and gets really into her music. she has a live album that just came out that was recorded at the HOUSE OF BLUES. totally cool.

ok, goodnight all. i'm off to finish some portfolio stuffs.

internship!

God provided the most awesome internship for me. i am so thrilled....i could not have asked for a better one. and it's paid as well!!

this means i will not be on the job hunt again till september. woot!!!
